your parents intends you to go to myspace at school? just because they have given you library cards doesn't mean they have also given you the right over OTHER person's or institution's stuff, like computers perhaps. you, neither your parents own the computers you use in the library. so neither you nor your the parents have the right to decide how it will be used. (i will be totally surprised if any parent will sponsor a votation for this on your school board.) just study and leave the social stuff when you get home.

Sorry, you're gonna need an admin password, and you're going to need to illegally hack the computer...and I'm sure you don't want to go to jail to check your myspace..

The only way you MIGHT be able to do it is if they have not blocked proxy servers....but I would bet dollars to donuts that they definately have. That trick is older than myspace, so I doubt it's gone past the IT guys who set up the blocking software...

In any event, it has nothing to do with treating you like a child....the computer is not your property, and the owner of the computer has every right to protect it...

You will get suspended and/or banned from using school computers when you get caught. Use school computers for school work, and there are plenty of Internet cafes you can use to waste your time on myspace.
