Why do people feel the need to announce their love over Myspace?

You've seen it, here's an example "Kevin loves Jessica"

Why do people feel the need to announce their love over Myspace?

Because they are immature.

It is the new carving the name on a tree or park bench or lamp post.

Why do people feel the need to announce their love over Myspace?

I don't understand the fascination with Myspace in the first place. If I'm going to put that much effort into networking, I'm going to do it where I can meet people face to face, and maybe have a drink.

Myspace is a profile so people write about themselves and what they like. Is a vain place that is why.

Why do people feel the need to announce their love over Myspace?

why does it matter? on myspace, you can put whatever you want on your own page. so, someone is happy to be in love...are you jealous?

P.S. I love Kristie!

Why do people feel the need to announce their love over Myspace?

According to my friend Hayley, "Because I love him so much that dignity isn't an issue"

According to me, "Because you like to brag and have fooled yourself into thinking the world actually cares"

Boys and girls there's a lesson here. Dignity and love CAN go hand in hand. I'd sacrifice my dignity for my girlfriend if I had to but I figure that unless in comes to that then she'd be happier in a dignified relationship to. I respect my relationship to much to flaunt it like it was some new toy.

Ha ha, I know!! I had a friend who liked this girl forever, and he finally told her by "myspacing" (his words) her. I about died with laughter. I went to a friends house later, and she had an account so we went and spied on him, boy was it lame. SO cheesy. I thought it was a hoot (especially since he's in his 20's), but at least he said something. I guess it's a way for people to say things that may be hard to say face to face. Whatever works, right?
