i was able to get in contact with friends from high school, whom i hadn't seen in years. it's a great way to stay in touch, and see what your friends are doing, without any hassles.

for the majority its an addiction. Example - i get home and i open the door to my lil brothers room and he was asleep. I went to the bathroom and go to the room and he's on myspace. Before brushing teeth, still with eyes half closed. You need to know if you got a message, who changed there pic, whos on or leaving a bulletain. I deleted my page after acouple of months because i fell victim to this. You say your going on for 5 minutes and it turns into 2 hours.

I love it because I moved to a new area and was able to meet new people, plus keep in touch with the friends I left behind. I was also able to reconnect with people I haven't talked to in 15 years. It's not all bad and it's not just for kids.

Myspace saved me from depression after I moved! I'm not addicted, but I do try to check it every day to see how my old friends are doing and if there is any news. When a hurricane hit, I was able to post that I was okay and my friends let my family know that we didn't have any phone signal, but the library had internet and they could reach us online.

Myspace, for us, has been a fantastic tool for communication! Plus, I love to post updated pics so if (when) we move back home, people will still know what we look like! :)
