because it's a great way to express yourself, and keep in contact with friends, family and people who you went to school with.. It's so easy to drop someone a comment to say hello. You can have pics and videos, so everyone can see how your doing..

I like it cuz it's an easy way for me to keep updated on things going on in all of my friends lives...seeing pics, reading blogs etc...plus I like the "artistic" side of being able to create your page the way you want

No matter what anyone says, I reckon the main reason is for people to build up a false sense of security..

I mean, you add random people and they're all like "you're nice", "you're hot", etc. Alot of people have low self esteem.. I guess it gives them a boost. I like to talk to my friends though %26gt;.%26gt;
